Eastport Kitchen

The Neighborhood Restaurant of Eastport, Annapolis

Our Story

Why We Do What We Do

Dedicated to the Details

We call it Eastport Kitchen. The idea behind the name comes from the notion that at the best parties, everyone seems to gather in the kitchen; that’s where the fun begins. From the beginning, the vision of owners Tony & Celia Moynagh was simple; build a team of friendly people serving great food, prepared with the best ingredients at a reasonable price. And of course, the ingredients we use are chosen with care, focused on seasonal and local products.

Chef Chris Gosnell joined Tony and Celia to bring the menu to life, and together the trio launched a new concept in fresh food in Annapolis, opening Eastport Kitchen in September 2015.

Given their shared experience in various capacities for Clyde’s Restaurant Group, Tony, Chris, and Celia learned from some of the best owners, managers, and chefs in the region. Ultimately, they have created a casual neighborhood eatery offering breakfast and lunch seven days a week.

The Scratch-Made Standard

We don’t take shortcuts. From brining our own meats to hand-cutting our potatoes every morning, we believe the best flavor comes from doing things the right way, even when it’s the hard way.

Stop by for the best fries in Annapolis! These are hand cut, brined, and fried to perfection.

Local Spirit

Eastport Kitchen isn’t just in Annapolis; we are of Annapolis. Therefore, we source locally whenever possible and take pride in being the spot where neighbors become friends over a cup of coffee.

The "After-Hours" Evolution

Our passion for food doesn’t stop at 3:00 PM, so our quarterly pop-ups let us experiment with seasonal flavors and offer intimate dining experiences that celebrate our culinary roots.

Our Philosophy

Our History

Established in 2015

When owners Tony and Celia Moynagh first envisioned this space, the goal wasn’t just to open a restaurant; it was to build a community. Without delay, they opened the doors to a neighborhood eatery in September 2015 that prioritized people just as much as the ingredients.

The Vision: Friendly People. Better Ingredients.

Together, this trio leveraged their decades of industry experience to create a menu defined by “The Scratch-Made Standard.” We believe in sourcing seasonal, local products and preparing them with the kind of care you’d find in a home kitchen—all served at a price that welcomes the whole neighborhood.

From our early days in 2015 to our newest chapter of Dinner Pop-Ups, the mission remains unchanged: serving our neighbors and friends great food, prepared by hand, one plate at a time.

DINNER POP-UPS

Seasonal After-Hours Events

Quarterly, we keep the lights on late to share a more experimental, chef-driven side of our neighborhood restaurant, Eastport Kitchen. These unannounced evenings feature secret menus and intimate settings that sell out quickly. Because these dates are never posted publicly, the only way to get an invitation is to join our inner circle.
